Car chemistry exhaust pipe muffler inserts, good, bad...?

I thinking of going with two of their 2 disc insert, right after the headers to mainly get ride of some 1000-1500rpm drone and possibly quiet it down some. Will using these inserts cause enough restriction to noticeably hurt me in HP/TQ ?
Anyway I'd like to hear your opinion, especially you've used them before.

Re: Car chemistry exhaust pipe muffler inserts, good, bad...?

I use a 3 1/2" 3 disc in a Mufflex system before the axle kick. I also had resonance @ 2k rpm. Much noise, and, potential problem with the law. I also installed the 7/8 cap in the center section. It really helped alot. With no cap, still too much noise. But, with a FI app, I also had to install a QTP electric bypass to get flow when dialing up the power. Had to modify the QTP due to excess pressure bending the valve plate on the non-supported side. Now, not a problem after my mod, but, most of the fastners in the QTP had to be replaced and enlarged + red lock-tite.

I also run a Spintech chambered muffler. Open flow mufflers did not work with FI app.
