Has anyone, besides me, have trouble with the transmission mount on my 1994 Z28 with an aoutomatic trans. I have had the car just under 3 years and this will be mount #4. I did the first two myself and when it broke again I took it to a trans. shop thinking I was doing something wrong. Well, that one lasted just over a year. The strange thing is that this is my 44 year old wife's car and I don't drive it much at all. Sure she has a couple speeding tickets but she drives the car like it's made of glass. She drives like an old lady (until a Mustang pulls up next to her, she hates 'em). About every other week I'll get behind the wheel and I usually open it up and burn some of her carbon out.
Is the mount a problem anyone is aware of?
Is there a stronger after market mount I should go to?
Any input will be appreciated and welcomed.

The stock mount will break, its only a matter of time. Get a polyeurethane mount. They dont break. You get slightly more vibration in the cabin but its well worth it, at least for me.
