Questions for the Transmission Builders

Hey fellows

I have a 94z with the 4l60e transmission, and i was wanting to change out the fluid/filter and also take off the valvebody for a thorough cleaning. i was considering installing the sonnax hd 2-3 shift valve part # 77754-41. the questions that i have were; is this a good part to install and what other parts or modifications can be done to improve the transmission?

any help on this will be appreciated.

thanks

Re: Questions for the Transmission Builders

With a 94 if the trans is original 1 I would not remove valve body unless i was gonna add a shift kit which again I would not suggest if its a high millage trans If its low millage you might consider the transgo hd 2 set to mild shifts, If High Mileage I would just replace the filter and fluid in pan and leave it at that,
