I have a question??

I have a 96 lt1 383 stroker with a 700r4 tranny. I brought a torque converter for a 4L60e not a 700r4!! Does it matter or do I need to get a torque converter for a 700r4 before I start it up???

Re: I have a question??

The 4L60E converter will fit a 700R4 manufactured newer than 1986, so to answer your question as long as the 700R4 is newer than that it will fit.
