gear ratio for street and drag strip help?

Need help on gear ration for drag strip, and I still drive it on the street.
I have 4.10 gears now, which has been fun, but now with mods, 1st and 2nd gear is a joke (needing to shift really fast). Wondering if I should run like 3.73's or 3.55's instead. I definitely still want some power through the gears.

Here's my mods:
1997 Camaro Z28, Black, Ttops, Procharger psc1 intercooler 9lbs bst 3.7 pulley, 44lb injectors, 255 lph fuel pump, nitrous 75shot, 52mm throttle body, LT Headers, Flowmaster Exhaust, 12bolt Moser rear, 4.10gears, dynotuned, slicks at track, 105fuel,Spec stage 3+ clutch, pro 5.0 shifter, lca relocation brackets, adjustable panhard and lcas, subframe connectors, tower strut bar

For what it's worth, everyone says to go 4.10 with the M6, yours still has an M6 correct? (Your sig mentions a stage 3 clutch). I'm N/A and not as modded as you, but I have an M6 and decided to go 3.73 myself. I was afraid of 1st and 2nd being short as well. My car gets up just fine with the 3.73/T56 combo. Granted, in 6th gear better than 2000 Rpm, I'm looking at liscence revocation if caught, but I'm okay with it lol

For the strip (1/4-mile), based on your trap speed and engine redline, pick a gear ratio that allows you to cross the line in 4th gear, below redline. You don't want to have to shift to O/D 5th gear. If you use different diameter tires on the street and strip, you have to take tire diameter into account as well.

Re: gear ratio for street and drag strip help?

Keep the 4.10s and get a 27" or 28" tall tire for the track, because supercharged engines build boost off of rpm if whereas turbo engines build boost from engine load. So with turbo you want the tallest gear to load the engine but supercharged you want a gear that gets the rpms up faster to build boost.
