Driveshaft alignment?

Finally put my clutch in.. Jeeez did it take a minute.
But I have a question... I pulled of my driveshaft, (which is aluminum btw.. The guy who sold me the car did not tell me anything about it.)
and then I put it back in.. I didnt mark anything, and I didnt balance anything.. I just put it in... DO I have a problem?

TL;DR: I pulled my Driveshaft off, and put it back on. Should I have marked it or balanced it, or some special kind of alignment??

Thanks for all you do for Camaro owners.. :P

The d/s can only go into the transmission one way and attach to the rear's pinion yoke two ways (180° opposed). If you don't like it the first way, try the other.

No tricks. The d/s, itself, should already be balanced and normally it does not matter how it goes on. On occasion, it might not feel as balanced if it is reinstalled 180° from where it was.

If it isn't centered in the rear pinion then maybe orientated 180* might make a difference, but since the driveshaft should be spun balanced like your tires it shouldn't be matter.

To me its akin to making sure your wheels are mounted on the same studs every time. If it feels out of balance take it to a drive shaft shop and have them check the balance of it. It will shake at certain speeds and then go away and maybe come back again. It will be speed related shaking, not RPM.
