Any of you running a faceplated T56?

I've seen people post that they are not that streetable, but they don't look that bad on "you tube" videos. Just a "clunk" when shifted. What's the problem?

Never driven a T-56 but have driven a muncie that was re-worked similarly. You lose the synchros so you will have to double clutch to down-shift. Also the no-synchros makes a slow engagement difficult, you really need to slam it into gear. The car I drove was track only so not a lot of "cruising" and it was difficult but not impossible to putt around (the muncie had straight cut gears , so it came out of gear at part throttle, unless you held it in gear, or kept it a WOT , though think faceplating solves this problem.)
