What do you mean, if you hook? What kind of trans do you have, tires, etc? Weather alone can make a 2 tenth difference.

Sounds like a good time to hit the 12's to me! MPH is low but you probably already know that. Post up the 1/8th mile ET and mph.

He has an automatic trans.

1/8th mile was a 8.794@83.56mph, street tires, and hooking means to get good traction.

ugh, he knows what hooking is and how to do it. his question was: what have you done to assure that you will hook?

all engine and no suspension or sticky tires = bad 60'

those 19's are killing your 60fts. And I am not sure if the flowmaster is helping or hurting your times. You should get another muffler in there.

He might not have ANY traction problems... Do you? Oh yeah.. remove the front sway bar.. it's dead weight at a drag strip!

I'm wondering why it's only picking up 18mph on the last half of the track... How hot was summer? Hell.. it was 90 in september in orlando when I was there.. HUMID AS HELL too..!!!! Did you have good fuel? spark knock? Check your trans fluid? How does it smell/look? Still red and not burnt smelling?

Like I said, good air alone could help you cut a couple of tenths off. Once you have the brackets on with some good DRs think about buying a quality converter next. Their not cheap but it's one of the best things to do for the money. You could easily cut half a second or more off your times.
