I've got a pair if you are looking. $50. Just email me if you decide you want them.

I've got them but I can't really tell any difference. BTW, they were only $20 for the pair at a junkyard.

The right side spring was lighter on the V6 cars. The left side spring was the same as the V8 spring. For best results swap them from side to side.

What makes you think that the two springs should be different? I pulled a set of V6 springs off a V6 car in a salvage yard and they seem equally soft to me and look the same.

Not all V-6 springs are the same. There are a ton of different V-6 rear spring part numbers. I run one very soft V-6 spring in the drivers side rear and a Formula spring on the passenger side with an air bag. The real improvement comes when you loosen the front end up a little.

Good Luck,

Daren

I don't think the spring rates are different from side to side IMHO.

I have a set of 1995 V6 springs I used to use.

Hope the following helps:
-i was told that 98 and newer v6 springs are the same spring rate as Z28's..
-v6 springs in back help the car squat.
-i think that v6 springs work well for drag radial cars, streetrace cars, and folks with small slicks.
-i took mine out when i went to bigger slicks the car was squatting too much and i have adjustable shocks/front back so the springs were no longer necessary
-rear v6 springs would help me on so/so tracks and i would sometimes hook a little bit better (1999) but once me and my buddies all got QA1 adjustable shocks we all hooked the same.

check out my personal website for some squat pics..

Oops. I meant to post that I agreed that loosening the front helps more. I added V6 front springs and shocks to my Z28 and the front end comes up a lot more. I'm switching to a stiffer set-up now so that my car will be better for autox and track events, so if anyone is interested in the V6 front set up drop me a line at jonstnre@hotmail.com.
