Tire/shock settings for an 11-second 6-speed car
I've been having trouble with 60' times so I'm looking for advise.
I have a fully adj. suspension including QA1s all around. The motor dynoed at 483 HP/ 465 TQ. I run 117-120 MPH in the 1/4 but only 1.75-1.80 60 fts. So for you guys running 11s or better in a full F-body, what tires are you running? What psi? And what are your rear shock setting if you have the QA1's?
Thanks !

I run the ET streets 11.50-15 @ 12 lbs. I run the rear shocks tight as I can and front loose. You don't want the rear to squat, you want the energy to put down pressure on the tires not loose it in compressing the shock

Yep, rears set on 6 left 7 right and fronts on full loose.

as for tires, i'd think you'd want a bias to soak up a bit of that hit but maybe not. i love the Hoosier QTPs in my drag car and it allows me to run the street classes too. ET Streets are ok too and seem to last me a bit longer but not quite as much hook. of course lots of people love the ET STreet Radials now, but i've never tried them. and as you know if you still have hte stock 10 bolt in there you are on borrowed time before it breaks (ask me how i know).
