somewhat cool day in florida, stock tires, bone stock lt1, and 323 gears and i ran a 14.15 after a 14.19. it all depends on how kept the car is.

I put 1.6RRs on mine with the LT4 springs......removed spare tire and jack(which is like 32lbs) and now when I go to the track I pull out my speaker box........with just doing that I pick up 2-3mph depending on the track......with that and me learning to launch the car I've went from 14.20's-14.40's down to a personal best of 13.67 in 5 trips to the track.......I have an M6 so were not dealing with the same thing here

not sure, i got them used but they look really new. you couldnt hardly tell they had been used. i started at 19 lbs and eventually dropped down to 15 lbs. tomorrow i'll start at 17 lbs and then come down and see what happens.

ok well i didnt run any faster w/my new valve springs and rockers...but i did beat my buddy in his 01 ws6 w/full bolt on's. i'm gonna put the video up on my fquick. i have been trying to race him for a while now. he has ram air w/k/n filters, cat back, no cats, edelbrock headers, nitt dr's, and best of all, ls1. but it wasnt enough for my little lt1
i ran 13.5 against his 13.6 i'll have the video up soon.

That sucks for a bolt-on LS1. Are you above sea level?

no, bakersfield is pretty much at sea level. it was pretty humid and about 85 degrees. i realize that if we raced 10 times he'd prob win at least 8 times, but we've both been bolting stuff on and waiting for a chance to race eachother so i was so proud of my little lt1
