The edelbrock torque arm is a nice piece and it fit perfectly out of the box as did everything else I bought from them (LCA's, panhard bar, SFC's) I've tried about everybodies stuff and honestly its all about the same.

Get some good rear shocks and loosen the front end up.

well, i've got the UMI, LCA's, Relocation brackets, and Panhard bar inbound, we'll see what those do, and trying the burnouts wet. As far as "loosen up" the front, uh...what?

lol, as you can tell i'm by no means a suspension guy, i'd love any advice you're willing to share, i'm plannin on getting some adjustable rear shocks but those will have to wait a bit, someday i'm hoping to dip down to the kind of number you are puttin down, it'll take a bit though. I'll take any advice i can get right now, thanks

That how the 12's are possible with a stock motor.
Had to throw in the 203lb weight joke. But I think this guys setup will work well. You shouldn't need the 12 bolt though; your rear with the tires you have should hook up. I have some bolt in SFC's like the ones you posted. They really made the car fill more stable when driving down the road, I would go ahead and get the SFC's also. The three point connectors are the better ones.

well so i got my new LCA's, relocation mounts, and panhard bar, and ran all night friday and sat. The launches are slightly better, i can now stay in the throttle and it will pull out of the spin but i'm still spinnin off the line and my 60's are always 1.8-1.9. I'd love to figure out how to hook a little better. The track was preped very nice last night since it was for 1320x (speed tv), and they were running outlaw 10.5 and DR, but i was still spinning a bit. I did all my burnouts starting in the water box, and i tried almost every psi from 22-15psi and no matter what it was always the same 1.9 60' with spinning.

that's a 3 tenth improvement, right?
what were the times and speed?
Any pictures of your car launching?
is the front end coming up?
sway-bar?
gas tank empty? spare tire out?
do you have -2* of pinion angle?
if the car squats you can get an airbag for the r rear, I may do this for drag and hauling the Kidd's

shifter in D
the way I launch is light the second yellow, focus on the last amber ,then stab the throttle when it comes on. no preload on the driveline. flashing works for now

sounds like your not heating tires long enough. if they were new they need a good heat cycle in them to work properly. don't be afraid to heat them in the water, I sit in the waterbox in second gear and when I can't see out rearview mirror I roll out, from the video is about 8 sec burnout.

Maybe try an airbag in the right rear spring with about 20lbs. in it. With those tires, I start at 18 1/2 on the left and 17 1/2 on the right side. After a good burnout they come up a couple of lbs.
