not sure how much NOS he left on. i realize that this is no official record but it is impressive. it takes a lot to get cars to hook up on 10.5's with alot of power. how about some of you post your bests and just use this number as something to shoot for.

2.0 This is when I shattered my spider gears on motor alone. No gas. I had just put 4:10's in the car earlier that day, and put drag radials with a 2000 rpm clutch dump.

It was nasty. I think at the 60' mark, I had already heard the sound of 2 sledge hammers colliding in my rear differential.

This sucks, I know, but I'm looking into a ford 9".

My personal best to this point is a 2.01 60' time. But to my knowledge that is a record for an automatic LS1 with 3.23 gears, street tires with 40% tread left at exactly 35 psi, rallybird racing stripes and a driver that weighs 191.5 lbs

J/K nice short time but I too would rather talk about the ET and trap speed that was achieved on that run.

I have been racing a 96 TA for 8 years now and there is nothing like the feeling of a good 60' off the line. I average 1.32 but my best was a 1.28 and they are all with the front in the air riding the wheeli bars all the way to the 60" markers. I get lucky once in a while and break the beams with the rear tires. Having the best 60' don't all ways make you the fastest car. It is how you are set up because I have raced cars with 1.5 60' and have them catch me on the top end. I run 10.20s @ 130 mph on a 383 LT1 (all motor). 3300lb, 4L60, 4:30 gears, 30x9 tire.
I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE THE 60' RECORD!!! If you got it flont it! I would!
The crouds love a good show and a nice wheel stand is the best!!!
