Post Need help, hard launches are destroying my car.

My 94Z twist terriblly everytime I launch at the track. It twist so bad that it has broke the fiberglass shell on the driver side door. I have a welded in 8pt rollbar, SFC's, and a BMR trak-pak that uses a 1 5/8 steel bar to connect the sfc's together and the left tire still gets 12-18 inches up on every launch. The car has t-tops which I know is hurting me, but is there anything else I can do? Thanks.

Randy

Sounds like you need a Wolf or BMR Rear Swaybar. My car was twisting pretty bad,but never hurt anything.
I have pulled 1.51 60's with the same thing, left front in the air, right front barely up.
I just did the BMR Extreme Duty swaybar, and it leveled the car out nicely.

How much air in your air bag? Something doesn't sound right. I have sixty foot times in the low 1.40's without any such problems.

I only run about 10-12lbs in the bag. Do you think more would help?

I have been running 18 pounds in mine and it helped straighten out the car on the launch. Now I only 60' in the high 1.5's. but the drivers side tire gets a bit of air and the car goes straight. If I have less air pressure it wants to hook right.

If you have a firm coil spring on the passenger side, 15-18 psi. If you have a softer spring try 18-20 psi.

I'll try the bag with more air this weekend, but I may go ahead and get a BMR anti rollbar.
