Need brake pads that will hold the car at 2000 RPM staged...
... to use on stock calipers. Whom use's what? Leaving off of Pro .500 tree.
Someone mentioned HAWK HPS but I cannot get the part numbers from him as he is not replying (Steve Quinn).
Anybody using some pads specially for this purpose? Any help appreciated.

I went to Thunder Racings site and checked on the Hawk HPS pads for the 2000 and it's a good thing that I was sitting down.
$75 for the front and $55 for the back. I too am looking for a cheaper alternative

Try this...at the line put the car in 'Neutral', hold the brake down HARD, and rev the engine 2 or 3 times. On each rev the brake pedal will drop further down towards the floor, which puts my pressure on on your brake pads. I can hold 2200 rpm on my Vig 2800 using this method on stock GM pads. As opposed to about 1700 regularly.
