M6 launch suggestions
I've been racing for 5 years, but recently went from A4 to M6 and I suck horribly at the stick racing thing.
Any tips?
The car has a 9 inch, so the rear end isnt' a problem. Also running a McLeod Street Twin clutch. I raced on Nittos saturday and didn't hook well at all.
With ET streets what would be the technique? Dump the clutch and go? At what point do you risk twisting the output shaft or something?

I'm waiting for the vid Saturday night when I raced a LT1 firehawk with a cam and a 125 shot, I missed 3rd, and he only beat me by .01

OK, back on topic....
We just heat up the ET Streets, hold RPMs at 6k and dump it. sticks pretty well with 4.33s. But the track has to be ready for it...my local 1/8th is usually trashed on a TH TnT night but the other night it held better than we thought it would. low 1.6s, best being 1.59 on a different track that is fly paper.
