m6 with et street(bias-ply not the radial one) tubes or no tubes?
Alright I got some et street(again the bias-ply ones) to use for my 6-speed. But some people say use tubes and some say not too. What would the benefit of not using a tube for my 6 speed? Also if I don't use a tube I'm assuming it would be a good idea to use screw my tires to the rim, correct? Thanks for any help.

Micley Thompson recommends tubes and rim screws. They even have a diagram on their web site for the layout of the screws.
The benefits to following manufacturer recommendations are that first, you feel better, knowing you have not short changed yourself in terms of safety. Second, the tube provides a better way to reduce air leakage. The tube provides minimally more protection from a blowout. The rim screws prevent the tire from rotating on the rim and they actually work... I tried it without rim screws first when I had a fairly stick vehicle and the tire did slip (Probably more so because I had a six speed at the time). You also want the approved metal valve stems in order to pass tech.
For me... I have seen a blowout at the track. I only needed to see that one time. The minimal weight savings and hassle of potential air leakage simply isn't worth deviating from manufacturer recommendations in my opinion.
