lower 60' times

Hey I was just wondering if you to off .2 from your 60' time would that take .2 off your total time or even more than that. or is there no way to really tell? I know its a dumb question but I was sitting here looking at drag rad's and started thinking.

rule of thumb- .1 off the 60 = .2 at the end of the 1/4

.1 off the 60' = roughly .15 off the 1/4

Push your car from a dead stop. Then push it when it's moving. It a lot harder to get the car moving than keep it moving. The first 60' makes a big difference at the end of the track. 1.5 times with my car.

Look at the incrementals on your time slip. You spend more time in the first 330' than any other segment. Any reductions there will always be multiplied down track.
That's why you see stockers leave so hard, it's all about that first 60' and 330' of the run.
