Little confused after new suspension

The car is the 94z A4 in my signature. I was having a ton of traction issues before with it, i could never hook up and the rear end was always going right after the launch. I finally replaced the eibach lowering springs and high milage worn out crap shocks with QA-1 R series up front, set all the way soft and a set of the summit brand adjustable drag shocks (basically the same as the CE ones) those are set at 50/50, i also installed a set of Eibach Drag Launch Springs with the air bag in the right rear spring set of about 20 psi. The car felt GREAT i made 7 passes and on all of them the front end came up nice and quick, felt like the weight really transfered nicely, it didn't spin much off the line but my 60's and ET were slower than they were before the new suspension. Before i was cutting about a 1.8-1.9 60' and about a 13.4 1/4 on motor and that was with a conciderable ammount of spining off the line. Well friday night with the new suspension i was cutting about a 1.9-2.0 60' and a 13.6-13.8 1/4 but the launch really felt great, perfectly straight not much spinning off the line, any suggestions?

It's time to start adding power right off the line. Spray it out of the hole.

Kinda spinning, not much spinning, less spinning...

THERE SHOULD BE NO SPINNING....at all Apples to oranges trying to compare some spinning vs. kind of spinning. I'd make sure the front end isn't coming DOWN too fast after launch also.

What tires are you using? Do you have an adj. TA? I don't see any mention of an aftermarket torque converter. Not that it will help your traction problems, but will certainly help your 60ft. times if you can hook.

Just guessing, but if you are hooking that well, are you bogging the motor out of the power band? Just grasping at straws-

He has a 255 MT Radial tire(hopefully around 20psi). Spraying from the line may also be a issue with a stock torque converter. 1600rpm is about what a stock converter stalls at. I've done it but I'd rather see it spray from 3000 on up. Nobody likes a backfire...especially the airbox.

the guy i bought the car from said that it did have a stall converter in it, but i havent been able to verify size yet, or even if it truely does, that does make sense though with it hooking up better now if the stall is to small it would bog down. Im not spraying off the line either, i have 1st gear locked out of the spray, it comes on at 3k in 2nd gear

Also, make sure you are not staged too deep. If you roll into the 2nd beam too far it will affect your 60' AND 1/4 mile ET. I am a tenth slower all the way around when I'm deep staged.

I roll into the first beam (pre-stage) after doing my burnout, bring up my rpms to where I want them and bump into the second beam. I go in as shallow as possible - barely light up the second bulb (stage). This also keeps you consistent if you're a bracket or class racer.

What RPM are you launching at? You should be able to leave harder (higher launch rpm) to take advantage of the new found traction.

Sooo that's what I'm doing wrong, I keep turning the top bulb off.

here is that combo thats worked the best for me
set the fronts at 3 or 4 clicks from the softest
set the back end as stiff as it will go on the shocks
you could be popping your front too fast and high
and unlike what alot of people think you dont want the rear to squat i prefer not having the rear of the car drop at all (i could go into detail and will if you want but for now il keep it simple).
and the first movement you want of the car is for the front end to start picking up
i took a rediculous amount of track vids of the car launching to set it up and finally got it where i liked it

has anyone looked at the DA for the comparison dates?
also, we liked to get some spin, chirps basically, this kept the engine RPM up and did not bog it, that is hard to do with a A4 but it might happen.

I will also add that we have never had luck with those CE shocks, we always run better with stockers if that is our only choice. We would prefer a QA1 or Strange on the back even with stock springs.
