Re: List of fastest LT1's

thats great i have the cc306 but before you start laughing i have a very great set of heads and was told not to go so high with the lift cause the larger valves wont need it with my heads flowing 270's at .600 and 230's on the exhaust(manley race flows 2.02/1.60 ) if it dont work i just switch the cam no big deal

Ok, I fixed it and put you on the NA list. If I expand the other lists I'll put your name there as well.

I'll put your name on as long as you still have an LT1 block and your time can be confirmed.

Re: List of fastest LT1's

I'll have to wait till spring for a time slip, but we are going to be tuning the engine on a engine Dyno in the next 2 weeks and we are sure it will be around 1400 FWHP. although the times here in the Rocky mountain region wont be in the 8's I should get into the mid 9's

Re: List of fastest LT1's

The stock internal record at 10.86 is Craig Millers 96 T/A. The motor was totally stock valve covers had never been off. The car had hooker longtubes and a mufflex exhaust. Moroso cold air, and a 52mm t/b. I put a th400 with brake and a 9" in it. It had stock interior and all the accessories. The car had a 150 dry NOS kit on it. The car went a 1.38 60ft and was deadly consistent. The key was the suspension.

Ok, I fixed it. You wouldnt happen to remember the date(approx.) you took the record of fastest LT1 and the trap speed on your formula's 9.14 pass?

Thanks

Re: List of fastest LT1's

Hopefully by next summer I will be high on the all motor list. Goal= 10's in a 3600# Z28 with all the factory comfort options intact....on a Drag Radial with 23* heads, all motor, yeh bubba it ain't yo ordinary LT1.

Oh yeh Add Mike Barnes to the list
He in a full weight Z

He wont tell what size engine, well he says a 355
But he runs mid 11's on motor and 10's on artificial atmosphere, car gotta be 3600#'s He is on this board Silverzz28 I think, e mail him and find out.
