Got some new times (happy but also kinda bummed)
I don't get to the track very often, in fact this is only the 3rd time I've gone. Last summer when I went my best was a 14.7 and I spent most of the night in the 15's. Came to find out that my fuel pump was on its way out and only pushing roughly 12psi. I was excited to go back when the car was running right and see what it was capable of, plus I got some new mods. Temp. was high 90's low 100's and it was kinda muggy because a T-storm was coming in but here are some of my times.
My best:
60ft: 2.234
ET: 14.004
mph:101.842
60ft: 2.342
et: 14.073
mph: 102.343
60ft: 2.317
et: 14.099
mph: 102.074
I really wanted a 13 but my 60 ft. time are terrible. I'm getting a set of Nitto's to help that. PLus my scanmaster was picking up 10-11 degrees of retard on every run. I watched some other stuff run and I started to feel better about not getting my 13. There was a LS1 that ran 2 high 13's but was in the 14's at about 100 mph all night. In fact my 14.099 above was against him, he ran a 14.02 at 100mph. Then there was a 3rd gen with a healthy cam and nitrous that was running 13.5's at 105mph, lastly there was a LT1 with a 150 shot and I believe his best on the night was a 13.4. Sorry this got kinda long, but I think in cooler weather with the Nitto's I should be good for low to mid 13's. Mods are in my sig.

I'm not sure what the elevation is, but it was at SpeedWorld for you local guys. That damn place is halfway to Wickenburg, I know the elevation is rather high. I was happy with my mph, especially since it was better than the modded LS1 that was running.

Speedworld is ~ 1700 ft. Your times don't look too far off given the weather conditions. I'm trapping 107 in this heat...should be ~ 109-110 in better weather. Keep practicing and those short times will improve.

Ouch, you should be good for 13.6-13.7's or so with that mph. Something musta been wrong with that other LT1 . Although i am still stuck in the 13's lol. Your times aren't that bad, you probably just need to work on driving. Are you going to the car show tonight?

Yeah aaron, the track prep seemed horrible, here was my best run wednesday night:
Reaction: .694
60ft: 2.374
1/4: 14.033
MPH: 102.665
I was happy with the mph, hopefully with the bfg drag radials i can pull some 2.0's. At least we were killing that modded cobra
