E.T. Streets can i go 11.5"??
I wanted to post here because i figured those that read this forum would have the best idea--if i should or should not do this.
Alright here is the question......do you think i would be okay running the MT E.T. Streets 26.00x11.5X16 on the stock 8.5 inch rim?? here is the link

The minimum recomended wheel width is 8.7" and the stock rim is 8.5". So it's .2" off from the minimum. The reason i was wonder is there is a 1.3 tread width difference between the 10.5 and the 11.5. Does anyone know someone running these on stock rims? I also plan on using tubes with these--if that makes a difference on if it's safe or not.....without them I am sure it would not be safe.

I bought 10" rims when I switched to that size tire. I know people who have run those tires on stock rims and not had a problem, but if I am going over a hundred miles per hour I want to be well within manufacturers tolerance for safety. It isn't worth the risk to do things the wrong way in my opinion. Also, they will hook better on a properly matched rim size.

Yea i'm kindof leaning to the 10.5, but i figured since it is only .2 off--that there recomendations are just ballpark anyway. +1 and-1 of the tread width, which they don't even consider sidewall height so. But the 10.5 is less weight and would hook it up just as well.
