whatever you have it runs strong.
I'd have to see this 113+ trap speed to believe it with that few of mods. Where does this Mullet guy live?

I'm not trying to be a d*ck. I really would like to see a trap like that from a car with that few of mods (but San Diego is quite a drive). Amazing! I am really interested to see what that thing weighs and what it pulls on a dyno. Sounds like you have a big time ringer.

Steve Y - I'm curious about HP and weight too. I'm planning a dyno and weigh-in, hopefully soon.

dren70 - Come on over. Every Saturday gates open at 11:00AM.
It's $25 to race, $10 to spectate. If you come out, let me know and I'll meet you there. Last weekend there were only 60 cars, so you can get a lot of passes in.

I'm not going this weekend, but possibly on the 28th. Maybe video?

Maybe GM was running low on LS1's that day and just threw an LS6 in there Anyway, those are some great times, especially with that lousy 60' time. Throw some DR's on there and launch that thing right and you would be looking at low 12's.

Damn I hate you LS1 guys!

01 & 02 F-Body LS1s came with LS6 intakes from the factory. Maybe they did stick the rest of an LS6 under that intake

MulletMan - Can I have your "complete" list of what you have on your car... besides the - lid, Glass' hood, cat-back and boxed LCAs I'd like my car to run 113 in the 1/4 with a 2.20 60' too.

Here's everything.

I removed every piece of plastic blocking the intake, including the windshield washer fluid canister (I don't use it). I raised the lower plenum about 3/4" and cut out the plastic underneath so that air can get to the filter from below. I also cut about 1" of sheet metal just in front of the lid to remove any restrictions.

I built a pin-on fiberglass hood with a NACA duct that directs air into the lid. It weighs about 15 lbs. compared the the 45+ stock hood.

I deleted the muffler and replaced it with 3" pipe - my definition of catback . It fits in the muffler's place and mandrel bends out the rear driver's side. It sounds nice, not as loud as I thought it would be. I had a Flowmaster, but it was not good enough. I plan to do LTs and true duals this summer.

I boxed my LCA's and panhard. That really didn't help my 60', but the car feels much tighter than before, especially in the curves.

I always run with no spare and 1/8 tank of gas. Gas weighs 6lbs/gal and the weight adds up quick.

I also hold 3rd just before the rev limiter. It hits at about 6250 or so.

I spent $48 bucks on the K&N, the lid was a gift. I did all the other work myself. $40 for the pipe and $9 for the steel to box the LCAs and panhard. The hood cost about $150 in glass, gelcoat and resin (including the mold).

Almost forgot the descreened MAF.

Yo AspKikr

I remember your car - I saw it at the tree but didn't see the time.
I drive a White 98 Z28
w/Black Mirrors - Tint - 17"Roh Snyper wheels & Slotted blackouts
I think I took off not too long after that you ran.

Heres a cool site that tells you when to shift for optimum ets and trap speeds.

your ET with your mods is believeable.i do have a hard time believing your MPH and ET with this 60'.your timeslip doesnt look legitimate, but ive never been to that track so i cant say.

as badass as ls1s are i cant see them running this strong under any conditions with any driver.

I don't know a whole lot about LS1s and LS6s but I do know that an STI (stock) burned a ZO6 off the line and the ZO6 tries to catch up and the end but is too late,... and I do know that the ZO6 has the LS6 which is faster than the LS1,.... hmm,...
