Any Golfers in the house?

Can any golfers out there recomend some reading material on the mental aspects of the game? I'm looking at Zen Golf by Joseph Parent, Golf the Mental Game by Thomas Dorsel, and Fearless Golf Conquering the Mental Game by Valiante & Stachura. Any book reviewers here?

Thanks

Golf and bracket racing are very simular. Both require concentration and confidence. In bracket racing and golf your really competing against your self. You don't have a team to help you out and you can't block a shot or pass. Best package vs lowest score. Mental side is focus, pressure, confidence, etc. All the mental aspects of golf can be direclty applied to drag racing.

I agree. Although my golf skills could at best be rated as "feeble" the similiarities are striking in terms of handicap compitition. Plus both activities are things which the majority of people can do when they are older as well as when they are young. I include bowling as another activity which passes the similiarity test.

I had the opportunity to play golf years ago at Doral as part of a company sponsored event. I was horrible, but the format was "best ball" so my tee shots into the woods and water hazards were made up for by the better players. My only saving grace was sinking a 40 foot putt on the 18th hole (which someone called "the green monster". I figured all those years in my youth playing croquet gave me an advantage...

I golf and I race, I can't remember the first time I went golfing but I sure remember the first time I went down the track. No comparison!
