4.10 or 4.30 gears for my lt1 formula, which set?

bought to finish up my 9" build an cant figure out what gears to go with. what do you guys think i should go with 4.10/4.11 or 4.30/4.33 gears? the car is a t56 6 speed car with a 26" tire. right now with the stock rear and 3.42 gears it ran a best of 12.1@115.85 with a 2.02 60ft crossing the finish line at the top of 3rd very bottom of 4th gear basically shifting as i go through the traps or right before the traps. i know for the best results i should be going through the traps at the top of 4th gear. so which gear would be best for my car??

I'd say use the Fbody gear calculator, but I cant find one that works. I would say the 4.30's would work good for you. I've got 4.11's in my A4 car.

I would think with the short 26" tires the 4.11's would work.

You might find some info here.

At what rpm does your peak HP occur and what rpm is you rev limiter set for?
For maximum performance you should go thru the traps a few hundred rpms above your peak hp.

how high do you spin the motor? 4.30's may be a bit much but you can always running a 28 inch tire. The 4.11's may be the way to go, but that will depend on several variables.

the rev limiter was removed an i shift it right at about 6500 to 6600 rpms.

Is your measured tire height actually 26''? If they are shorter then 4.11s would be right.
Do you plan on future mods that might make your car quicker? Then 4.11s would be the better choice.
