I'm about to put 150 shot of nitrous on top of a maybe 380rwhp due to the fact I now have a moser 9". I am wanting to switch my 4.22 gears to either 3.70 or 3.89 gears. I will be using 26" slicks through a 96 camaro t-56 trans.
According to the calculator 4th gear shifting at 6400rpms with 3.70 will get me 133 mph and 3.89 will get me 127mph. Which I know these numbers can change somewhat since slicks can grow in size. Do u think I can reach 133mph in th 1/4 mile or would the the 3.89 at 127mph seem more achievable? Thanks for any help.

If you want every bit out of it, I'd look to go through the traps PAST the shift point.

I run 3.89 gears and trap 128, I might be interested in a swap for your 4.22's

I run 3.89's and trap 149mph. But I must be turning higher then you.


The difference between the two is going to be small and I'm not sure if it will have much effect in the et
