1/8 mile MPH to 1/4 mile MPH?
I can find a good bit of 1/8 mile ET "calculators" but I am wondering if there is a rough MPH conversion I can use. Just wondering what my MPH would be in the 1/4. I added a new TB and longtubes and ran straight longtubes and wanted to see how much if any they helped.
I was running 12.2s@113.5 before in the 1/4 just dont have my timeslips close to me.
Tonight I ran a 7.88@90.04. My launch wasnt as good as it was for the 12.2s but I can work on that. Just hoping my MPH went up. I think I can hit 91 without shortshifting gears, but we will see.
I also had a few issues, roller rockers knocking loose and a vacuum line I am missing (throttle body to evap, gotta get a new one it is not there so leaking pressure there).
thanks.

My car is maxed out at the 1/4 mile and that formula isn't close enough for my times.
The majority of my 1/8 mile MPH are in the 115 range and a couple in the low 116's. My 1/4 mile mph is from 142 to 144. 1/8 mile x 1.24 is a lot closer conversion for me.
A car should be constantly accelerating (more feet per second) as it's going down the track. At the top end, how much acceleration can vary from vehicle to vehicle. My car is topped out and the amount of acceleration is probably decreasing while a street driven car that isn't geared for 1/4 mile racing may still be accelerating faster as it crosses the finish line.
