1/4mile Times!
I finally got my car running and to the track. First pass was 16.2@105 second pass 14.75@106 spinning and sideways at the 1/8th on both. Got smart and dropped tire pressure from 32 to 17 1/2. Third pass 13.3@88, the trans didnt want to shift :/ Fourth pass 13.15@112 playin the throttle and spinnin past the 60'. Final pass 12.9@113 again playing the throttle and spinnin past the 60'. Need to get my slicks! Thinkin I can get a 12.7@114 on street tires next time out

Slicks or maybe a set of MT drag radials. What gear are you running? Nice times your running there. With that mph you could be down in the 11.80-12.20 range as long as your not racing in some crazy high DA.

I have a set of slicks already mounted with 2 passes lined up for $200 just have to have them shipped here. Stock 3.23 gears. I currently live in Sacramento, CA. I see your out of Illinois, ever heard of Metropolis?

Thanks. Yah we were thinkink high 11's. Can still do some more work on the heads, get a bigger stall, and maybe a custom cam. That should be good for around 500 rwhp. Actually shouldn't need a different cam. Going to work on the suspension and rear-end first.

Shipping those is gonna cost you big time, but sounds like a good price. Metropolis, can't say that that rings a bell.

no i didnt take off the front sway bar. the car has no ac, power steering, carpet, sound deadening material. on the important side its all stock suspension with eibach prokit springs so im working on changin that.

Maybe i'm a pessimist but I do not see anywhere near 500whp coming from that.

i said around to indicate a VERY rough guess at potential....and yes i can get close....theres a lot left in the heads even keeping this cam...and i would be going with a different cam as well
