Tuning help

looking to start messing with my tune a bit.....got a mail order from a tuner and looking to modify it a bit. The car is running fat and want to see if I can get it adjusted a bit. from the research ive been doing a have a few questions for some experienced guys.

1) for 42# ford green top injectors what should the inector flow rate be? Mine reads 42.93 shouldn't it be 44.36?

2)for egr delete I change Min map, min RPM, and max RPM to 0?

3) for air pump and egr delete I uncheck the set button for error 27, 32, 29

any tips and tricks are appreciated.

Re: Tuning help

As noted in response to your PM, how did you determine it is running rich? The 5% discrepancy in the injector programmed flow would not create a problem that the long term fuel corrections couldn't handle, at least not running in closed loop. It would run a bit rich at WOT.

Have you checked the fuel pressure?

What are the modifications to the engine?

Re: Tuning help

it smokes real bad at idle and burns you eyes like raw fuel......

383ci, custom cam, stock ported heads, stock ported intake, 3800 stall 42lb for greentop injectors

the motor was in my impala and didn't smoke at all
