Exclamation Problem with tps, 02 runing rough.. need help

Okay first off the car is 94 firebird lt1 30 over, cam, bbk throttle body, headers, roller rocker's, ported heads and intake,

**what the car is doing if you are driving at lets say 2000 rpm the motor starts to bog down and if you do not move your foot after a min. or so the car will clear out.. it seems like it gets a miss and then the car takes off without moving your foot of the gas or pushing any harder, I have no idea what is going on**

HERE IS A LINK TO MY DATAMASTER LOG
http://files-upload.com/files/458129/02%20problem.uni

okay i First was getting 5 codes, 22-"tps low", also tps high code 44-"left02lean",-64"righto2lean"and also code-36"hi-res fail"

I have fixed all the codes and now last night i have got a code 13-"left 02 fail, so checked on here for the mv rating and went out to check the o2s and on open loop the o2s are jumping for 90mv-900mv, i thought it would do this on closed loop not open?

So i reset the codes and now i am getting just getting a code 22-"tps low"
I have a slotted tps sensor and i have been moving it around and the best i can come up with a .55 at 8% at idle, it should be 0% but i can not get it there, Now if i turn the car off sometimes and restart it goes to .55 at 0%, but once the car warms up the tps % does not stay at 0 on idle. Im am stuck here any help will be helpful I have the pcm tuned i have bumped up the fuel pressure to make it run richer but, since i read one post a few posts on here i turned the fuel pressure back down to 44psi, so the reading on the log is with the fuel at 44 thanks again

Also can you please look at the histogram it says the car is running lean i can get the sterm running good but the l term will not got white, i have been running the car at 55psi and the s term with stay in white with a little red but like said be for i have turned back the fuel to 44psi, i have new injectors in there i think 34# but i have to check, before i had a leaky injector.

***Also,i am in Delaware, and i am thinking the only way i can get the car running good is by getting in dyno tuned, so i am looking for a good shop around here that knows lt1's***

It sounds like the BBK throttle body is not adjusted correctly. TPS should read 0 percent at .64volts at idle and approximately 100% at 4.6volts at wot. You can check this with the key on without the car running through your scanner. Also make sure your idle adjusting screw is not adjusted wrong. You should have about 50 on the IAC counts at idle when its adjusted correctly. Lastly make sure the blades are not sticking with the car running(vacuum present).

Here is a link to Injuneers site for more info.

As you close the throttle with the idle screw the iacs will climb. After you get the idle screw set and your iacs are around 50 then set your Tps

I had to mess with my BBK TB a *lot* before I got it dialed in. Had to slot the TPS, too.

okay i went out and worked on the car today and with just the key turned on, the tps is at .64 and at wot it is at 4.6..

But the iac will not go below 115 i took the iac out and it had some carbon built on it so i wiped it off and put it back in..
Do you think that the IAC is bad? and maybe that is why it is not going down to 50? thanks again for all the help

Did you try opening the throttle blades with the idle adjustment screw? You must do this before adjusting the TPS voltage at idle. It is very unlikely the IAC is bad.

seems to be a trend lately. Did you get your tps % to match you tps vdc?

http://web.camaross.com/forums/showt...&highlight=tps

I looked at you datamaster file and it looks just like mine. If you set up your graph to show tps%, tps volts, and ign volts, you can see that everytime you tps starts going really haywire there is a drop in ignition voltage. Your's is worse than mine. Mine only drops to 12.2 vdc, your's drops into the 11's.

Okay i think i have fixed the problem

1. Bought a new iac valve and cleaned out the carbon build on Now the reading is around 50.
2. Adjusted the idle screw to the right reading
3. Then i Adjusted the TPS to read 0 percent at .64volts at idle and approximately 100% at 4.6volts at wot.
4. Cleaned out the cat. And found a 3/8 wrench " My new high flow cat was getting clog. that is why it was surging here and there..

But i have to say i would of not figured this problem out with out this Forum.
thanks again
