Open loop Idle possible? 96 OBD2
Is open loop Idle possible in OBD2 F Bodies (96-97) or is it just an urban legend?
I´ve tried zeroing the WOT table at the lower rpm values but all this did was a P1171 Fuel System Lean During Acceleration error.
My STFT´s are still active. I checked that with Autotap. Do I need to do something special?
I am using LT1 Edit version 2.2 by the way.
Maybe Tunercat does something different.
Suggestions appreciated

Re: Open loop Idle possible? 96 OBD2
you're on the right track.
the reason you got that code is your AFR is too lean at idle. it's set when the o2 voltage is lean for a while. enrichen idle more (that is why you want to run open loop @ idle anyways, isnt it?).
failing that just disable the code.
i think int moves but doesn't actually trim in PE? it's been a while since i've scanned an obd-ii car...
