OBD2 Data logging software

Dont laugh because I have no idea on what is a good brand to buy. Sometimes I wish I had OBD1. Anyways, heres a few things I turned up. If you have better suggestions that dont break the bank by all means let me know. I need to find out what that darn computer is thinking.

ScanTool.net LLC - ScanXL Professional - ScanTool.net
This one looks a little generic to me, but if it will do the job Ill take it. Ill need to get one of their scan tools to use with it.

Amazon.com: EASE Version 10 OBD II Generic Professional Automotive PC Scan Tool Software and Mini-D OBD2 Generic Vehicle Data Logger with USB PC Connection: Automotive
This one looks a little more proffesional.

How bout this one?

This one has a great price.

Re: OBD2 Data logging software

Looks like all the OBD2 tuning people are not around. Sorry I can't add any ideas. Could point you to an OBD2 Jet DST forum to ask what they are using for logging. The '96 to '97 Lt1's were a little oddball years for GM software. In fact 93-97 years were all oddball the 93 was ECM Chip OBD1, 94 was flash OBD1, 95 was flash OBD1 w/OBD2 ALDL connector and 96-97 were OBD2 LT1's, but a little different than the rest of the industry as not all the fancy OBD2 stuff was implemented (miss detection by cylinder and other stuff). Finally the LS1 in 98 caught up to most the other industry standards. Here is one OBD2 tuning url there are others out there if you search. TunerCat / JET OBDII Hardware and Software
