Re: how to tune lt1
Changing the distributor (MSD not the best choice) and the larger fuel pump do not require a tune. The CC306 does. Did you upgrade the injectors? Did you alter the timing screw on the MSD in any way, or did you verify it was in the correct position?
Look at the "Stickies" in the topic listing for this forum:

There are numerous online tutorials for tuning.
The alternative is to get a mail-order tune from someone like pcmforless:
PCM for Less
If it's 10.25:1 at WOT, you have to use the PE (Power Enrichment) tables to reduce the target A/F ratio.

Re: how to tune lt1
Which PE table are you using - there are two:
PE % Change To Fuel/Air Ratio Vs. RPM
PE % Change To Fuel/Air Ratio Vs. Coolant Temperature
Somewhere I've seen a formula for using these numbers together to effect the A/F ratio change. Check the TuneCATS help file.

Re: how to tune lt1
But I read this topic Do you think this method is correct
This is how I set up the PE tables to command a 13.0 AFR at operating temps on the LT1/LT4 cars. Then scale the Maf so the actual AFR matches.
Also enter 14.7 in all cells above 68*C in the open loop AFR vs coolant temp vs map table.

Re: how to tune lt1
little confused here...the screen shot header pic says 1996 corvette. The file your uploaded is a 95 camaro. Also the fuel tables in the uploaded file is not the same as the screen shot. On the file..I see 12.5 commanded at wot at 4k rpms, and 13.2 at 5200.

Not the only confusing thing here..... he posts an emoticon of a Canadian flag, identifies himself as Russ Kemp, and is posting from Saudi Arabia IP addresses.

At this point, I am only acting as the site moderator. As long as the thread stays under control, and if someone else chooses to help you that's fine. I've given you info. You have to follow up on it. Did you download the TunerCATS guide, with help section?
