Injector Offsets - Stock vs Delphi 38# Injectors

I've been reading a lot about the injector offsets and I'm ready to try some adjustments. My ECM has been programmed in the past by 3 different people so I am not sure if the stock injector offset values are still there.

If someone can provide me with the stock offsets, then I can compare them to my current injectors (Delphi 38# PN/17113798)... yes, the ones that Delphi doesn't post the offset values for.

My question is if I have a known value for the stock offsets and can determine the value of the Delphi 38# offsets, that should give a percentage difference. Then in TunerCat I can apply the percentage variance across the matrix. Is that a proper method for adjusting the offsets?

The % difference idea will not work because the effects of voltage on injector opening and closing is not linear and a % change to stock offsets would still not be representative of the change in injector characteristics. Also the stock values should be close enough to work perfectly fine with almost any injector in normal operating voltage ranges. I'd be more worried about a fast opening injector like a bosch design 4 than I would with the older tech you are using. It should be very close to the stock injector performance wise because the motor portion of it is the same old tech as the stockers if your injectors are the ones I think they are.

Thanks for the offsets. I'll be heading to the shop later this afternoon. The car is a 95 Z28 and I don't remember if it was a pintle design or the disc. The new Delphi 38# are definitely disc type.

I'll look at the offset numbers and see if they have been tampered or match your list.

Also, that makes sense the that the ratios may be different between the injectors since they are not linear. Thanks.
