Re: Need help IDing my camaro

I have the origial motor what is this car. what is this car worth?? Restored? I'm thinking of painting it hugger orange. SHould I keep it the original color?
Thinking of putting the 2 4 barrels on it like they had. Would this be worth the expense. So should the seats be white or black?? Looking at the 727 #.

727 = Standard Ivory/Black Bucket Seats means standard bucket seats in ivory with black seatbelts.

The restored value depends on the other options on the car. However as its a X33 Z28, the value is worth more with the matching motor. I wouldn't paint it hugger orange. Ralley green is an extremely popular color. It'd say its worth more green. You can get reproduction cross-ram 2X4 setups for a few grand, originals will set you back $15k-20K. May not be worth the hassle if you're looking to sell for profit. It will add value, but not what you put into in IMO. This could easily be a $40K-80K car if the numbers match and depending on the options. Sounds closer to $40-50K range as its std interior. (More than likely came without spoilers and ZL2 hood.)

You should check out http://www.camaros.net and http://www.camaros.org which are two of the best 1st gen Camaro sites on the internet.
