454 Flywheel

Just wondering what flywheels you guys suggest to run with a manual trans.

I've seen the lightened race ones, and the cheap china ones when i looked. I'm just looking for something in the middle. Good quality, but not crazy expensive.

Depends on the transmission used and how much power you intend to put through it. Buy an SFI rated flywheel and clutch. There's no guarantee it still won't explode but there's a good chance it never will.

Summit racing

Hi,

I always just buy the Summitt Racing house brand that is SFI rated and have never had a problem. They are a good price too.
