1967 RS Headlights Not Working
1967 RallySport camaro, the headlight doors open, the headlights don't come on, but the other lights do. The headlight doors do not close (not sure if it's everytime) after the switch is pushed in.
Any thoughts as to what this might be? Is there a relay or something that controls both the doors and the headlight's doors (only for closing) or something?

Pretty sure they're not blown.
Here's my test that I just did
headlight doors still open from last time
Turn on lights, interior lights come on, gauges, etc.
Headlights not on.
Highbeams, no highbeam light on gauges, no highbeams

Re: 1967 RS Headlights Not Working
anyone have an RS specific wiring diagram? This is retarded. I have a chilton's 67-81 camaro book, but it rarely has any 67-69 info in it. The electrical diagram showed the headlights, but nothing for the doors.. It was basically, oh, from some fuse to the headlight switch to headlights. Boom.
Wow, vague. I found the fuse information but it has nothing about headlights.
I looked at the headlight removal section, and nothing about 67-69.

FYI - Classic industries sells the 67 RS wiring diagram.
Anyway its sounds like the circuit breaker may have wore out. Its located between the headlamps and the switch near the washer fluid bottle mounting location. Trace the wiring back from the headlamps and you should find it.
Retro-electro has some information on the 67RS wiring and even sells replacement motors for the doors.

Here's a link to the 67RS wiring diagram (the link on retro-electro's website doesn't work.)

They can be tricky to get working properly, but don't give up.

Check the dimmer switch and the wiring on the floorboard. Its a common area for rust to collect and you may need a new dimmer switch or headlight switch. You might try unplugging the dimmer switch and plugging it back in. If the doors don't close I would suspect the headlight switch. There are limit switches too on the frontend that turn off the door motors.
