FS- 1995 Firehawk #496 Strip/Strip Car
Car:
-1995 Pontiac Firebird Formula Firehawk. #496 or out 671 built in ‘95. OBD-1 for easy Inspections.
-6 Speed, T-Top’s, Black Leather w/Power Lumbar, Power Windows, Locks and Mirrors. I have the original owners manual and window options sheet.
-The car was 31k when new.
-AC , Cat and Air Pump have Been Removed. 96k miles on car. 2nd owner. Bought in 2000.
-Car was tuned by PMP Motorsports on New Era’s Dyno 6/08. A/F was perfect 13.0 on Motor and 11.5 on Spray.
-NADA has the 95 firehawk at $9450.00 average and $11,400 as excellent.
-The car has gone 11.34 at 127 with 1.79 60ft on a drag radial spraying at 100ft. Has a lot left in it.
Motor:
-Original Block .30 over 355 LT1. Short block built in 06’ by TBR Machine in Syracuse.
-Forged Eagle Rods, Forged Speed Pro Pistons, Stock Crank, Milidon High Volume Oil Pump
-GM 847 Cam, Comp Cams(Comp R Lifters), CC’s 1.6 RR’s, CC’s Dual Valve Springs with locks and retainers, Hardened Pushrods.
-TBR Ported Heads and Port Matched Intake. New Manley Stainless Steel Race Valves, guides and seals. Larger than Stock. New Fel-Pro Head Gaskets 8/08 after redoing heads.
-Summit 52MM Throttle Body with Stock Firehawk Ram Air setup w/ furnco inlet. K&N Drop in Filter.
-Brand New Stock Radiator and Alternator in past 12 months.(Just to replace)
-CSR electric water pump with 180 T-Stat. 8/08
-All Oil Changes every 1500 miles
Drivetrain:
-94 Trans Am T-56 Tranny with 50k miles.
-Pro 5.0 Shifter with Hurst Leather Boot/ New GM Clutch Master Cylinder
-SPEC Star Stage 4 un-sprung clutch.(Best Clutch I have ever used and will hold anything)
-Moser 12 Bolt Rear End. 4:11 Gear, Spool, 35 Spline Axles, Upgraded Aluminum Cover(2600 New-1 year old). Weld in Sphoon Lower Control Arm relocation Brackets
-New Steel Driveshaft Shortened 2” with 1350 Yokes
Suspension:
-Front 8-way Adjustable QA1 Struts, Eibach Drag Springs, No sway bar but will come with the car.
-Rear Koni Adjustable Shocks with Eibach Pro Kit lowering Springs.
-S&W 6 point Roll bar Welded in. Painted Gray. Needs touch up on door bars.
-J&M Hot Part Lower Control Arms and Pan hard Rod all with Poly Bushings:
-Sphoon Adjustable Torque Arm (Tranny Mount Style)
-Weld in Subframe Connectors
Nitrous System:
-NX Express Ice Man Nitrous and Fuel Solenoids (Good to 300 Shot)
-Nitro Dave’s LT1 52mm Plate (Up to a 200 shot)
-NOS Purge out of front Windshield
-All 4an lines ,NX 10lb Bottle, NOS Bottle Warmer, Marine Switches for Arm, Heater and Purge W/NOS Filter.
Brakes:
-Rear Wilwood 6 piston brake kit. 10/08. Rear Housing tubes to Fit Large Ford Ends on Rear End. Stainless Lines converted to LT1 Brake distribution block.
-Front Napa Rotors and Pads 8/07
-No E-brake provision with Moser 12 Bolt
Exhaust:
-Hooker Jet-Hot Long Tube headers
-3” X-Pipe with 18” Bullet mufflers with dumps at the rear end
Ignition:
-NGK Tr6 Plugs (2 range colder for Nitrous)
- MSD 8.8 wires
-Malory 685 Ignition Box w/LT1 Plug. Timing retard for when Nitrous in activated. Digital display.
-New GM Opti in 07.
Fuel System:
-Walbro 255 in-tank pump
-SVO 30lb Injectors.
Wheels:
-Weld Pro Stars 15/3.5 fronts with Pep Boy tires-Shank Style Lugs
-Weld Pro Stars 15/8 Rears with Brand new 275/60/15 MT Drag Radials-Shank Style Lugs
-The original 17/9.5 Firehawk Wheels by Speedline (Made one year, very rare)
Will not be able to use with the 12 bolt rear. Will need to change rear wheel Studs.
Gauges:
-Autometer 2 5/8 gauges in vent. Oil and Nitrous Pressure
-Autometer 2 5/8 Fuel Pressure on Wiper Mount(Outside)
-Harlen Shift light in A-Arm Pod
The not so good:
-Front bumper cover is scraped underneath due the car being lowered and long.
-3” crack on the dash above vent.
- Couple of scratches for a 14 year old car. No Dents.
-Carpet on Driver side floor is worn in. Could use Cleaning/Replacing.
