97 Camaro SS
$6700 Or Best Offer.
97 Camaro SS, 6 Speed, T-tops
Mileage: 133,XXX
Well the time has come to sell my baby. She has taken great care of me and has never left me stranded. This car has been a blast to drive in the past years and is very fast. Transmission shifts seamlessly smooth and is a great cruiser on the highway with the 6 speed trans. I have put some upgrades into it, but the car is mostly stock.
This is a genuine SS car. Not a clone.
5.7 (350ci) LT1 motor. Always used QuakerState Full Synthetic oil and Wix oil filters changes every 3k miles
6 Speed Manual T-56 trans with new GM Syncromesh Fluid.
Stock Rear End - 3:42 gears, Limited Slip with SLP cover. Fresh LSD Synthetic Gear Oil.
Ram HDX clutch has about 20k miles on it and going strong.
SLP Hurst Shifter.
Pacesetter Long Tube headers with Y-pipe. Passed emissions 3 times in this car over the years without a problem.
Magnaflow Muffler with chrome SLP tips.
Functional SS Ram Air intake with K&N Filter.
All 4 brakes have been recently changed. Pads and rotors.
New battery
All stock rubber bushings replaced with Polyurethane bushings including motor mounts.
ECM Tuned to eliminate "Skip-Shift", tuned for 93 octane.
Excellent custom Pioneer sound system.
Front tires: 274/40/17 Kumho ecsta asx with 70% tread left
Rear tires: 285/40/17 Firestone Firehawk Wide Ovals with over 80% tread left
The only issue that this car has is that the pacesetter headers have some leaks, causing a SES light.
I have brand new OEM Denso O2 sensors in the box and ready to be installed.
I've painstakingly maintained this car with regular fluid changes and washings. I hate to see it go, but I have a baby on the way and need a more "family friendly" 4 door vehicle.
