I have decided to try and sell my car again, this car has spent lots of year with me and started as a street car. I got bit by the speed bug and this is the result. Today I have a job, wife, a 2 year old and a 4 year old that take up most of my time. I just do not use the car anymore and I would like to buy a street car.
The good:
This car has LOTS of $$$ in it and no expense was spared building it. I built almost everything myself except the short block and the trans but I did everything else so I know what it is. Its very fast, LOUD, and wants to be raced! It was built to hande a 250 shot on top of what you see but I never got around to that. I would encourage anyone who buys it to imediately go do this you will have a VERY fast car on your hands! Actual milage on the car is just over 46k... I still have the original speedo for proof.
The bad:
Its been sitting for a few years and I just start it up once and a while and do some smokeys in front of the house It could use some new rubber out back. While the tires on it are plenty capable of racing on they are a few years old and if it gets an N2O it wants they would need to be upsized to some 28's. The belts are out of date and will need to be replaced/recertified. The car has only been raced a few times since I built it and I do not have any real good time slips to show you. I was still tuning and tinkering. Best it went was 12.4 @118/119... spinning of the line and shifting at 5800/6000 it needs to go to 7000/7200 where it make the HP. It wants to go more RPM but the PMC and management system would need to be upgraded from stock to do that. The windshield is cracked... needs to be replaced or install Lexan like I wanted to do.
I am negotiable on the price but I do have a bottom dollar and I don't have to sell it so please don't call me and offer me $4k
I tried to sell it last year and had a few lookers and a few trade offers but just never was able to work it all out. I am going to try agian now on a few limited sites and see what the tide brings in. If you want to look at it please let me know you can come here and we will talk. I am a LONG time F-body fan and I know what this car is. Unfortunately the world doesn't see the LT1 for what it was or is anymore. If you want a real fast and fun car please contact me via PM here or email me at projectz2402@gmail.com. Come see it and go for a ride you wont be dissapointed. I have an old Dell laptop with LT1 edit and Autotap to go with the car so you can dial it in.
Asking $9000 O.B.O.
I am open to trades however the last 3 trades I entertained did not work out so I am not very optomistic about it. I would like a stock/ mild mod covertible Fbody 94-02, or something more of a collector type like an anniversary edition car or something like that. Must be street-able and able to be tagged and registered in NJ. Or an airstream trailer of similar value that I can involve the family with.

Re: 96 Z28 race car
Thanks! The pics really do not do any justice. It does have a few blemishes on the body and it is not a "show" quality car but it is really in great condition!
I have recieved a few request for parts from the car, as of right now I do not want to part it out.
