Re: Good asking price for this 94 z28?

I'd list it for $4500.

EDIT: KBB says I'm a little high, but this has unusually low miles for its age, comes with extra wheels/tires, etc. IMO, stick with $4500 as a list price, but take as little as $3500 if the buyer has cash.

I think I'd start a bit higher than that. The red/black interior is fairly rare. I tried very hard to buy one with that interior when I was looking back in 1994, and couldn't find one. Also unusual that it is unmolested. Hopefully the engine compartment is as clean as the exterior. Is the paint original?

Maybe try $6,000 for starters.. if it was a 6-speed, might be easier to sell at that price. You can always drop the price.

Might throw a new ignition block box(red) on the passenger fender to look complete.Go to shbox.com and look under component location views and go to #65 to see what it looks like. They sell a reproduction of this part at Hawks Motorsports and on ebay gm part#1218/6586.$20.00 shipped.I would disconnect the battery when installing this. When I shopped for my car over two years ago, that was one of the things I looked for for a completely stock original car.I would also take a big soft brush and clean up the engine bay.And by all means,DO NOT STEAM CLEAN THE ENGINE.You will blow or wreck sensors and the wire connectors.Hope you sell soon.My02.

Right on man thanks for the tips. Nice car by the way. Yeah this car kinda just fell in my lap and i have a 2010 supercharged ss so it wouldnt hurt my feelings to pass this z28 on hehehe. I did have a 95 z28 6 speed and liked it alot, put ported heads/intake and cc503 in it and it was alot of fun.
