1997 Z for sale
I'm in the unfortunate position where I need to sell my Z. I have had it for sale for a little over a month, and have only received spam. I'm unsure what the terms are for linking on this website, so I will not add any (if anyone would be kind enough to inform me of the specifics) Would appreciate honest and constructive criticism if I am marketing incorrectly or asking way too much.
Car has 77XXX miles, on a rebuilt engine about 19 months ago. Has custom stereo equipment that I would remove and reduce price
Asking 10,500 or 9,900 depending on stereo equipment.
It is a clean automatic and a coupe. I am the second owner and still have the factory sticker. Some of but not all of the mods are listed below. If you want to see/hear the car, do a Youtube search for 97z284sale
17" American racing rims with Nitto drag tires in the rear
LT1 modified to LE2 by Lloyd Elliot Portworks
BBK 58MM throttle body
Cold air intake conversion with a double K&N filter setup
Heads are from a 1995 Corvette
Custom computer tune
Upgraded fuel pump
Ford SVO hipo fuel injectors
Trans and oil coolers
Comp cam and rocker arms and beehive springs
Crane pushrods
Complete new Magnaflow exhaust system (cats and 2nd O2 sensors were deleted)
Electric water pump
Coil pack conversion
High capacity 8QT. oil pan
Complete engine rebuild with gaskets
Complete transmission rebuild
Richmond 3.73 gears
Koni shocks
Addco sway bars and k member
Welded subframe connectors
Transgo shift kit and 3200RPM stall torque converter
Custom stereo with Kenwood speakers, 12" subs, amplifier, and head unit.
Tsunami wiring, fuse block, and capacitor
Those are just what I'm aware of. I'm sure there's more.
Body 6/10 or 7/10 just for there being road wear on the paint of the nose.
Interior 7/10 or 8/10 a few things to nitpick.
Thoughts? Comments? Opinions?
I do have high quality images of the car both on Flickr and Photobucket, feel free to ask me for a link. A few pics were just added to my garage but it does the car no justice.

Re: 1997 Z for sale
it is probably worth every penny but people who pay that price are looking for a bone stock Camaro with low low miles on it.I had a 96 2z8 with only 22,000 miles on it and the motor was bone stock and I got 12,500 for mine. They seem to frown on a built motor but you would think it would make it easier to sale but it doesn't.

Re: 1997 Z for sale
Granted I'm new to the performance scene and the f body world, is there any way to really help myself? Is there a group or website that I'm unaware of that would have buyers available ? I do greatly appreciate the insight!! I'm just getting a little annoyed at offers of $1900. Ha. Even as a stock vehicle my z would be worth more than that.
Anyway once again thanks for your time!

I'd post it for sale on ltxtech.com. more ltx based site and you'd probably get more interest. GLWS! I'm currently trying to sell mine as well. the lt1 market just isnt what it used to be.
