1995 Firebird Formula Convertible - low miles, low circulation, nice, $7,600
Well-cared for, low-circulation 1995 Firebird Formula Convertible in excellent condition, with the Corvette LT-1 V-8 and automatic transmission. Some will remember it from a year ago -- I was traveling for the past 18 months so it was put back into storage, but is now reluctantly up for sale once again.
Very few Firebird Formula Convertibles in this color (Medium Dark Purple Metallic -- a sort of plum purple), only 37 built (and less than 1900 Formula convertibles EVER built) and I was lucky to find it in Southern California. It took me four years to find it and it's everything I wanted -- rare, fast, just 89,000 miles, in great shape, and well-maintained and owned by only one (technically two - it was traded in to a dealer) previous owner, who is an older businesswoman.
It is well equipped, and has a grey leather interior, full power, rare (one of less than 150 1995 Formula convertibles), 3:23 Performance Axle Ratio option. And is totally unmodified.
It has ice-cold A/C and everything works. Runs as it should, with tons of power, two new tires, and good brakes. Includes plastic tonneau covers with trunk storage bag for roof, original window sticker, receipts, brochure, etc. And the title is clean, of course.
Clean inside and out, with a near-new appearance under the hood as well. I am a perfectionist, and will give you as honest description as I can. Very stock and original, although there has been some paint work -- the original owner and her husband installed a set of Firestone Firehawks, and the two front ones blew on trip to Arizona last year, taking out the driver's fender and the bottom of the passenger's, so fenders and paint are freshly new back to the rear quarters, courtesy of the insurance company. Plenty of photos both before and after damage and new paint. Paint matches great and looks nice. And it has the original (or at least original-style) black cambria-canvas-cloth convertible top that is just about perfect.

This car has just received CA smog test and passed with flying colors.

While I did start driving it again, I'm guessing the car will be going back into long-term storage up north again, especially if my job picks up.
