Talking 1991 Chevrolet Camaro RS 305 TBI T5 (5 speed) For Sale or Trade

Well, this was my first car, and I think I'm ready for some more power. I've always wanted to get a Z28 but this became my first Camaro due to insurance costs. I bought this car from the original owner at 145,000 miles on the odo. He used the car for traveling during his time in the Navy, so a good bit of the mileage was done on the highway. This car's home is North Carolina, yet it has been to some interesting places he was stationed at, but this car has never seen the north so there is NO rust damage anywhere nor has it seen the snow. The car's mileage is currently at 155,000 and I have yet to have a problem with that good ole' 305. Tranny shifts smooth, only a slight problem getting it into reverse (while sitting still just shift into a gear then shift into reverse if it does happen).

The car was somewhat plain when I bought it... Had some old trailor type wheels on it, louver grill, stickers on the back window from all the places it's been through. I left the 305 stock because their not much of a building motor, but my dad and I decided to give her a make over.

Here's some of the exterior changes we made:
-17x8.5 IROC-Z chrome replica wheels (Mated with Falken ZR 245/45)
-New Z28 style hood mated with 91-92 "Power" blisters (Used)
-Z28 style grille (91-92') with fog lights (Used)
-New GM parking lamps
-18% tint on the side windows, 5% on the back
-New GM Camaro nose piece emblem
-Headlight housings were painted black during the addition of the new hood
-Silverstar headlights (High/Low) and fog light bulbs

Interior:
-Black/Grey
-Cloth
-NO cracks on anything besides the seat buckle skin
-Added electric windows
-One rip located on left side driver seat from entering/exiting (typical camaro thing)
-JVC head unit / Kenwood Exceleron 2 (4x3") 2 (6x9") 2 JL W1V2 Subwoofers in custom enclosure with JL 500 watt monoblock amp. (Sounds great for any music on the right tune)
-Viper alarm system

There's a good rundown on the car... This Camaro has been babied by me since i purchased it. Oil has always been changed every 3000 miles, car has been buffed/polished and always waxed. This car has RARELY ever been seen dirty. Always garaged by me and original owner. I'm really looking forward to a possible trade for a Z28... preferably a fourth gen (LT1 or LS1) six speed... If it is sold, I'm asking for $7,000 OBO. Here are some pictures.

Note: These pictures were took before my parking lamps arrived.

Bump for the day... I forgot to mention, the car has a flowmaster muffler on it, not sure what series though, has pretty good tone to it. New Magnaflow preformance cat converter was added around June 06'.

Thanks guys. I did buy an LT1 and a 1989 350 for it... But i decided it's just too much trouble for a part-timer to have time and money to do at the moment. But I am taking offers, throw any reasonable offer at me and I might just consider it you never know... But no stupid "Ill give you $1,500 offers" please! Thanks. (Bump for the day)

honestly you should really think about keeping it. I had a silver 88 with chrome irocs...I loved it. You will probly regret letting that car go...its in great shape

I would love to have it but I have too much stuff as it is now....and I need to buy a trailer

No.. you're crazy, I've invested a total of $8,450 just making it what it is today. The car itself is worth in then $3,500-$4,000 range... This car is immaculate, but if I really wanted your opinion, I'd ask for it. But obviously there is no question asked in my post if you think it's worth it or not. If your not interested, then do me a favor and not post your comment about it. But really I came on here to lower the price to $7,000, so yeah.

A nice one will go for more then you think. I've been looking for another 3rd, but I'm going to settle for a 4th because a "nice" 3rd is so hard to find.

Gone are the days of picking a "nice" one up for 2k.

I sold my 92' RS for 4,500 2 years ago (130k at that), but it was showroom...

To the seller: KEEP IT!!! hehe It's only been 2 years as I sold mine to help on a house downpayment... Now I'm looking for another and it's hard to find a nice one. Think about it...

Bump for a nice car.

Thanks I'm getting more and more comments to keep it.... And I'm getting back into the mood of building an LT1 on a 1989 block I've had.... So if anyone is interested let me know before I decide to take it down.....
