window motor speed

OK, I'm on my 3rd replacement of window motors on my 95z28. I've had these in for about a year and they are just slow, I mean creepin' slow. Is there any way to put faster motors in 4th gens. Anybody ever try rebuilding the window brackets. Its real annoying at this point any advice would be appreciated. At this point I'm kinda wishing I had window cranks!

Re: window motor speed

it might be the wiring leading to the motor. especially on the passenger side, its pretty cruddy. it could have deteriorated even farther. try checking the voltage going to the motor while hitting the button and see where it is
