Post Trouble installing JVC CD player

I have the bose system in my Z. I took out the factory cd player and hooked up the wiring harness that i bought and spliced the wires together. The CD Player has power but no sound comes out of the speakers??
I called JVC and they said do not use the wiring harness I bought and cut the wires of the factory harness and splice them with the harness that came with the CD player.
Well i did that but still the same problem?
Anyone know what the problem is?

Neal

Did you buy an interface adapter? Its another wire harness and cost $50 but you need it for an aftermarket CD player. Here it is.

Did you 'fire' up the blues? That part isnt necessary, but it will make it sound/work 100x better.
