Smile Speaker Sizes for stock locations

I got a 93 Camaro and im looking for the speaker size for the front doors and the rear sail panels. Also, what's a good efficient 2 or 3 way speaker to get to fit in thoses locations? Im going to run it off my Eclipse deck (30x4). I already have Aura separates in the custom kick panels and a JL 10w6 sub in the rear hatch. So, im not looking for anything really extreme, just good, reasonability priced speakers that are efficent off the deck's power. Thanks!

Actually they are 6 3/4, I learned the hard way by ending up drilling two holes in my JBL's when I got them to make them fit!

Zomie is right. I just read in Crutchfield that the stock speaker size is 6.75" all the way around.

So, all you had to do was drill new holes in the speakers? Do you have to fab any new brackets to make it fit in the rear sail panels or in the doors?

Do they even sell a 6.75" speaker? Or do you just have to redrill the holes in the 6.5"?

Yes they sell 6.5 / 6.75 inch speakers. You need to make sure that its capable of being 6 3/4 or you will be drilling holes like me!

I drilled two holes at the edge of the speakers so that the space was the same as on the stock ones and mounted it with only two screws, they sound fine and I did not damage the speakers any, Just one huge pain when I thought they would just bolt on!
