Post Sound Fades In and Out when Car is Started

I still have my factory Bose system in my 93 and it sounds good as new whenever i'm just sitting in my driveway without the car started. But whenever I start my car it sounds as if all the sound is reduced and the bass has vanished. It surfs around the speakers like i have a speaker testing system or something. Also the left door wires aren't working. How hard is it to replace those wires?? Thanx.

Justin
