Should I switch-appreciate your opinions
I'm looking to make an upgrade to my current set up..any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Currently Have:
Pioneer deh6400
2 10" MTX 6000 subs
Rockford 400s amp
Considering:
2 JL 10ws
2 Diamond M6 interiors for the front
and use my Rockford 2 channel amp I have laying around for the Diamonds.
What do you guys think? Is it worth it? What type of problems may I encounter/
Thanks!

What do I think?
Due to my over 26 years of installing experience I would scrap the Pioneer HU and use it as a door stop. "Pee On Ear" equipment has a VERY poor track record with me over those years.
Instead of the JL subs look into either the Alpine Type-R or Type-S subwoofers. I just replaced my 10W3 with a Type-S and it blows the JL out of the water. While the JL is an excellent sub, the Alpine is a better match for the .6 cubic foot Vantage Stealthbox enclosure I'm using.

Why you ask?
Because of their **** poor quality thats why. Changers that don't change. HU's that don't work. Amps that fall apart. And Pioneer's sorry *** customer service. In all the years I've been doing this Pioneer has THE worst quality of all the brands I've dealt with. On the other hand, I have NEVER had a single problem with Kenwood or Alpine. I'm sure there are plenty of people that have had nothing but good experiences with Pioneer gear. I'm just not one of them. I wouldn't own Pioneer if you gave it to me.

Well, I've never had problems with my Pioneer stuff. Just bad luck for LS1 rulz. To that end, over the last year of reading posts, I would say LS1 rulz really knows his sh*t with car audio. So his advice is better than most. Besides, I think the new Pioneer HU's look tacky.
I just got an Alpine MP3 XM ready deck and I love it. I'll be getting XM as soon as I get some extra cash. Good Luck!
