RF Punch HX2 12" subs any good?
right now I have 2 12" MTX 5000s in a sealed box with 1.08 cu ft per speaker, and a MTX 302 2 channel amp. It doesnt have enough bass for me, what subs do you recommend? I have heard the RF have bad SQ? what does that mean? Please give me your opinion on some good 12" subs for my car. thanks, Carson

The RFs are decent, but way overpriced IMO. But anyway, forget the RFs. You should look into Alpines or JLs. JL has a new V2 sub that kicks pretty hard and I know the Alpines hit hard and work well in smaller boxes. If you plan on getting a larger box, take a look at some Adire Shivas. Very nice for the $$.

I have one in my closet waiting to go in the 'bird. Put one in my girls car off a 500S. Sounds great. I love them. Theyre not overpriced if you know where to find them. The JL's are decent, but Ill personally pass on the Alpine's....

I had the 12" HX2s in my old Firebird. Hooked up to an 800.2 They slammed. My God, they were loud. 1.25 cubic feet, sealed, per sub. I know being a hatch helped, but they are really good subs. Through a hookup, I got them for $110 each. Ive seen them on Ebay for around $125 or so. Id get them.
